CHRONICLE aims to enhance building performance, increase energy efficiency, and improve resident comfort at home. The project develops digital tools to monitor energy consumption and to create more sustainable, cost-effective, long-term maintenance and renovation plans.
Our Vision
The possibility to monitor the life-cycle building performance makes it possible to improve buildings through the best renovation scenario, thereby increasing energy efficiency towards meeting larger sustainability targets.
Our Role
EGC is leading the Communication & Dissemination for CHRONICLE, managing the project’s planning, monitoring and presenting of activities to communicate on the progress and results of the project.
Outcomes
EGC has delivered the Communication and Dissemination Plan outlining the C&D strategy, activities and implementation instruments. We are also designing the promotional materials (brochure, video, roll-up, newsletter, PPT) and managing the overall branding of the project and the website.
Energy Efficiency
The goal of the project is energy efficiency by developing tools which provide building professionals and residents with recommendations how to effectively reduce energy consumption.
Performance Evaluation
The project develops tools for professional stakeholders to monitor building operations as well as receive recommendations in terms of energy, cost and comfort.
Digital Building Logbook
The Digital Building Logbook (DBL) is an information repository for all relevant building data. It allows to store, organise, manage and trace information and data throughout the whole building’s lifecycle.
