Today marks a special transition: BLOXHUB and EGC merge. For more than two decades, EGC has been dedicated to developing carbon-neutral cities, primarily through EU-funded projects. As a non-profit organisation, our focus has never been on growth for its own sake but on supporting sustainable partnerships and creating meaningful impact. We’re thrilled about the new opportunities ahead as we join forces with BLOXHUB.
It is also a farewell to the CEO of EGC, Elsebeth Terkelsen: I am proud of the work we’ve accomplished and confident that our vision will thrive under BLOXHUB’s leadership. This acquisition represents a crucial step toward securing more resources, collaboration opportunities, and global reach for our efforts.
This transition will not impact EGC’s involvement in the our projects. There are no changes to our status apart from moving into a vibrant environment with excellent facilities for meetings, conferences, partnerships, and knowledge sharing – all accompanied by an incredible view of the Copenhagen harbour.
BLOXHUB is the Nordic hub for sustainable urbanisation, founded on the belief that the challenges of global urbanisation and climate change require partnerships and new ways of collaboration.
