EGC is taking part in this year’s Climate People’s Meeting in Middelfart, Denmark, to emphasise the role of the European Commission and its support for various EU projects. We’re showcasing the Eyes Hearts Hands Urban Revolution project – a part of the New European Bauhaus program – which brings together social, aesthetic, and sustainability elements in a multi-layered approach to urban planning and renovation. Additionally, we’re presenting DEDALUS, a project focused on engaging energy consumers in demand-response systems, addressing the growing challenges of rising electricity usage and peak loads on supply systems.
The Climate People’s Meeting serves as the largest platform for practical inspiration in tackling climate change, with the primary goal of driving action – whether among decision-makers, businesses, organisations, or citizens. The event blends public engagement, political dialogue, and professional insight, aiming for collective outcomes in line with the spirit of the New European Bauhaus initiative.
We look forward to engaging in policy discussions with politicians on energy policies and sustainable development. Next week, where collective action and individual climate passion converge, you can find us at stand 78!
