How do we transform behavior and support collaboration at both the citizen and political levels?
EGC has created a guide for building new green cities through a four-step framework designed to drive sustainable change. This guide is intended for housing organizations, SMEs, private and public actors in local communities, and citizens. It summarises key insights from the Avedøre Green City project, supported by investments from the ELENA (European Local ENergy Assistance) program. Each of the four steps focuses on different layers of sustainability in local communities and offers recommendations for developing green cities. The project has left a legacy of valuable learnings on driving sustainable change in urban developments.
