Energy communities represent an immense value – economically, environmentally, and socially. And now a decisive step has been taken in Denmark.

We are proud to be part of a new association: Energy Communities Denmark.
EGC is contributing with all our knowledge from our many EU pilot projects like Eyes Hearts Hands: Urban Revolution
and with Vickie Aagesen as part of the Board.

The European Commission has an ambition that all municipalities with more than 10,000 inhabitants should have at least one energy community by 2025. This new association will help realise this. Energy communities are an important asset in the green transition and can help restore the local engagement that many people miss.

We look forward to co-operating with this talented group of people and organisations.
