October is the official start of EYES HEARTS HANDS Urban Revolution – one of five selected lighthouse demonstrators of the New European Bauhaus. The initiative connects the European Green Deal to our daily lives and living spaces. It calls on all Europeans to imagine and build together a sustainable and inclusive future that is beautiful for our eyes, minds, and souls.
EGC is proud of being a part of this movement. We are eager to start developing and implementing new, innovative solutions across the EU to help address the challenges of climate change through a social approach involving citizens in the green transition at the local level.
The EHHUR project supports cities and vulnerable residents in transforming their built environment. Spread across seven different locations in the EU and Associated Countries (DK, EL, BE, PT, TR, HR, IT), it will seek to tackle socio-economic and cultural challenges such as social segregation, energy poverty, and degradation of depopulated historical centres.
