As part of EU project RINNO (Innovation in Renovation), and together with interested residents in StoreHus, managed by Avedøre Boligselskab, we have installed ten measuring devices around StoreHus to measure the indoor climate over the course of the year.

The measurements document indoor temperature, humidity, CO2, noise and air draughts in the existing building.

Another part of the RINNO project is the development of facade solutions – facade modules equipped with micro-ventilation, paper wool insulation and PV thermal panels.

Very preliminary results show that seven out of nine flats run average temperatures over recommended indoor temperatures. This indicates that it should be possible to save energy. The project combines technological solutions with solutions that center the empowerment of the residents.
